Telling someone you are somewhere at sea helps nobody. Give coordinates or a landmark everyone knows, such as Shuwaikh, Shuaiba, Khiran or Umm Al Maradim, plus the number of people aboard, the hull colour, and your fuel and water state. Those details are what set the priority of the response. Repeat the numbers back to the other side of the call so there is no chance of a mistake.

Assume the wait will be longer than you hope and start rationing early, not when the tank runs dry. Cut every unnecessary electrical load and stop repeated start attempts that only burn fuel.
Most emergencies get shorter when preparation is a fixed habit rather than an afterthought.
The best place to find a failing part is at the berth, not offshore. Work through the fuel filter, plugs, fuel line and outboard before every trip, and replace anything showing wear, cracks or looseness before you leave.
Keep a short log after each trip: how the engine pulled, any unusual noise, and fuel burned. Deterioration shows up in that log long before it shows up as a breakdown.
