The drop in temperature also pushes plankton and small shrimp closer to the shore, and the fish follow their food. In cold water, fish prefer fresh shrimp and sardines โ strong-smelling baits that trigger their sense of smell. Try chumming a small amount of chopped bait around your spot to gather the fish, then drop your line in the same area. Also experiment with line depth until you find the layer where the fish are holding. Remember that fish move slower in the cold, so patience pays: don't rush to change spots, and give each location a fair chance.
Kuwait's winter sea should not be taken lightly.
